According to the latest data from the Sports & Fitness Industry Association, pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the country, with over half a million people starting to play since 2020.
Pickleball is a mix of tennis, pingpong and badminton that can be played with two or four players. Players use rectangular paddles (about the size of a table tennis paddle) to hit a perforated plastic ball over a net.
While the pandemic fueled growth of the sport, pickleball has becoming increasingly popular over the last several years, with participation doubling since 2014.
The Hot Springs Village pickleball facility consists of 14 recently renovated outdoor courts with lights for night use. A staffed clubhouse provides rental equipment, snacks (including ice cream and drinks), and reservations. Players can participate in open play, leagues, and tournaments.
All of our Discovery Packages include access to the pickleball courts and are a great way to experience the many amenities we have to offer. Come visit us and see why Hot Springs Village is truly one of the best places to live.
