The Future Revenue Analysis Task Force (FRATF) was tasked by the Board of Directors to analyze HSV’s current and projected financial requirements and to provide viable options to ensure future revenue is aligned with our financial requirements. The FRATF analysis, conducted over the past 8 months, reviewed historical spending for lessons learned and insights, the current 2021 budget, and budget forecasts for 2022-2027 and beyond. Comparisons against other private communities and municipalities were also studied.
The Task Force considered over 350 ideas from property owners. These included expense reductions, fee adjustments, additional revenue sources and assessments including both regular and special assessments. More than one dozen public events were conducted during the process to share the work of the Task Force and to gather feedback and ideas from property owners.
On August 4 the Task Force presented their findings, options and recommendations to the Board of Directors and to the community. Links to this presentation and to the recorded session are shown below.
