Public Works collects household waste at curbside once a week. Commercial areas use large collection boxes and are collected as required. Residents who miss their curbside pickup may use a community trash bin, available at 218 Minorca Road, Monday – Friday between 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. The community trash bin is restricted to disposing of household solid waste only. Residential Household Waste
Trash cans cannot be larger than 45 gallons.
Items accepted in household waste are:
- food products
- plastic products
- non-recyclable paper products
- none-recyclable metal containers
- paint cans with dried paint
- light bulbs
Items Not Acceptable for Pick-Up
The Hot Springs Village POA will not pick for recycling or household waste any of the following items:
- chemicals
- motor oil
- anti-freeze
- dirt and rocks
- construction material (carpet, lumber, paint)
- batteries
- logs
A community trash bin for vacationers is available at the Minorca Sanitation site, located at 218 Minorca Road, Monday – Friday between 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. The community trash bin is restricted to disposing of household solid waste only.
For members’ convenience, recycling Centers are located on Hwy.7 North, Hot Springs and in Saline County.
